The Australian Industrial Energy (AIE) partners, including Squadron Energy Pty Ltd, are seeking a modification to the existing development consent for the Port Kembla Energy Terminal. The modification will allow more variable throughput of natural gas to better meet expected customer demand.

The modification report was placed on public exhibition in December 2019 and submissions were received from the general public, organisations and public authorities.

Issues raised and comments made in these submissions have been addressed in AIE’s submissions report which has now been lodged with the NSW Department of Planning.

The full report can be found in the Environmental Approvals section of the AIE Website. The submission report and submissions received can be viewed on the Department of Planning’s major projects site.
