The trip will include visits to Ilford Public School, Kandos Public School, Dunedoo Central School, Mendooran Central School, Gilgandra Public School, Gilgandra Public School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Gilgandra and St Michaels Catholic Primary, Dunedoo.

A touch footy clinic will also be held in Dunedoo along with a Win The Morning event with the Gilgandra Shire Breakfast Club.

Each stop will consist of a series of interactive workshops for local primary students centred around the club’s health and wellbeing program, ‘The Best You Can Be’.

Now in its eleventh year, the program focuses on helping students make positive choices around health and wellbeing.

The workshops include advice on staying active, learning how to practice tolerance, respect, and inclusiveness, the importance of good sleep, screen time management, hydration, and nutrition as well as the important role we play in taking care of the environment.

“We’re so thankful that Squadron Energy will again help us get out and visit the kids in the Central West,” Browne said.

“I’m fortunate enough to have been a part of a number of these community trips and I’ve enjoyed them all thoroughly. It’s really important that we get out to these communities and use our profile as professional rugby league players for good. The students and teachers are always great and we’re very excited to meet everybody.”

The trip is a part of the club’s continued partnership with Squadron Energy who have helped power a range of community trips to regional areas of Australia.

Kacee Milnes, Site Operations Manager at Crudine Ridge Wind Farm added: “Having the Dragons visit our regional schools brings excitement and inspiration to the students, creating lasting memories.

“These visits not only promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles but also highlight the importance of teamwork, resilience, and community connection. Squadron Energy is proud to bring the Dragons’ Blitz to the local region.”
