FAQ

How do I apply to receive the bonus?

Reswitch will contact eligible participants directly and provide instructions on how to register to receive the bonus. If you believe you’re eligible but haven’t been contacted, you can reach out to Reswitch at support@reswitch.com.

When will I receive the bonus?

Once you have successfully registered for the bonus, it will be credited to your account quarterly in $250 payments. Payments are generally made on the last day of each quarter- so you’ll typically see the credit applied around 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December.

How will the bonus show up on my electricity bill?

It will appear as a credit on your electricity bill. Reswitch will provide more details based on your energy provider.

What happens after the pilot?

We will review the pilot after the 2 year period. If the pilot receives positive uptake, positive community feedback and Stage 2 of the Clarke Creek Wind Farm proceeds to construction, we will consider expanding the program.

Do I still get the bonus if I move house?

Yes, if you move to another eligible address within the program area. All you need to do is inform Reswitch of your new details.

No, if you move outside the eligible program area.

What if I don't need, or don't want to use my bonus?

The bonus is completely optional. Reswitch is exploring a “pass it forward” feature to let you donate your bonus to a local community organisation or facility and may seek feedback from you to help shape how this feature works in the future.

Is Squadron Energy offering a bill bonus at other projects?

Not yet. Stage 1 of Clarke Creek Wind Farm is the first project to offer this benefit. We’re exploring opportunities to expand the Power Promise Program to future projects.

I'm a renter, can I receive the bonus?

Yes. If you’re the electricity account holder at an eligible address, you will qualify for the bonus.

How long will the bonus be available?

The bonus is available for 2 years under the pilot, ending on 30 June 2027. To receive the full 2 year benefit, you must register on or before 30 June 2026.
